Life on the ship is great. Some days are harder than others and all of them are a full day's work. I love them all. We are going on a lot of underways (out to sea for days or a week) over the next few months. It's always exciting for me, even if it is not for anyone else.
I am moving into a new apartment soon. This one is, at the very least, ten times better than any place I have ever lived. Needless to say, I am very excited to be moving into this one, as it is a luxury apartment on the third floor.
I have played a lot of great video games lately and watched great movies as well. One TV mini-series I would strongly recommend is The Kennedys. It has absolutely astonishing acting.

I hate Amy Chua and everyone in the world like her. People like her are an evil breed.

Tomorrow starts my first ever tour of duty onboard an actual ship. After 4 years 4 months and 6 days of being in the United States Navy, I am finally stationed on a ship (LPD 21 USS New York). Wish me luck.
