Life on the ship is great. Some days are harder than others and all of them are a full day's work. I love them all. We are going on a lot of underways (out to sea for days or a week) over the next few months. It's always exciting for me, even if it is not for anyone else.
I am moving into a new apartment soon. This one is, at the very least, ten times better than any place I have ever lived. Needless to say, I am very excited to be moving into this one, as it is a luxury apartment on the third floor.
I have played a lot of great video games lately and watched great movies as well. One TV mini-series I would strongly recommend is The Kennedys. It has absolutely astonishing acting.
...a red herring
To the left.

The iPad is released. But I'm not going to buy one, yet; at least until they release the 3G-capable models.
A revolution in computing? I agree. But there are alot of kinks to be worked out. I believe that Apple released this version as a means to test the masses. They knew that there would be problems and that consumers would demand patches and updates. I'd even go as far as to say they are counting on feedback as a means of knowing how to make their product better. Anyone who thought this was "it" is pretty ignorant. I forsee several updates even before the end of summer 2010. Within a year and a half, I could see a second generation of iPads; as we all know, Apple left alot to be expected and anticipated. They've opened the doors to competition and will be gunning to slay the pc's once again. I'm fairly confident that they will lead this field, bar none, due to all of the patents they hold and how savvy they are at OS.
Mr. Jobs, I look forward to a hands-on, very user friendly experience with my future iPad. Thank you for not letting me down.

I have stumbled onto an onset of good luck lately. Although, it comes with it's price. I have also learned how to control the when and how of that "price". Or so it seems so far. I won't argue that I have been a pain to certain people, to whom I have deep relationships with, but I can't seem to concern myself enough to change. It is truly a paradox for me considering I despise being the one who people are upset with, for whatever reason. As for my luck, I believe it is more of a control I have over outcomes of situations. I have an offensive, so I've been told, outlook on my future. That is, "I can get what I want". Sort of a more forward perspective of my motto, "Always look out for number one". Am I really that wrong? I'd welcome a genuinely good reason why.

Greetings from Sicily, my friends. I finally changed locations. It's alright I guess. I don't care much for the locals, but the scenery is beautiful. I have to spend one year here, so I suppose I will make the best of it. Now, more than ever, I wish I was home. You don't know what you've got til it's gone. On the up side, I will come away from all of this a changed man. I have a lot of time to reflect and learn about myself here.
