Did you ever think about how fads come and go, and what affects their change from one to another? Well, would it not be absolutely surreal to assume that the Almighty has a thing for a certain fashion, music style, commodity, or element. And that because of the Lord's fixation on said entities, they actually come to be a part of our culture and we just commonly move from one to the other with no knowledge of an underlying meaning. Maybe.....just maybe everthing happens for a reason. Maybe the Creator loves his ant farm that much.
