The iPad is released. But I'm not going to buy one, yet; at least until they release the 3G-capable models.
A revolution in computing? I agree. But there are alot of kinks to be worked out. I believe that Apple released this version as a means to test the masses. They knew that there would be problems and that consumers would demand patches and updates. I'd even go as far as to say they are counting on feedback as a means of knowing how to make their product better. Anyone who thought this was "it" is pretty ignorant. I forsee several updates even before the end of summer 2010. Within a year and a half, I could see a second generation of iPads; as we all know, Apple left alot to be expected and anticipated. They've opened the doors to competition and will be gunning to slay the pc's once again. I'm fairly confident that they will lead this field, bar none, due to all of the patents they hold and how savvy they are at OS.
Mr. Jobs, I look forward to a hands-on, very user friendly experience with my future iPad. Thank you for not letting me down.
